THERE IS A CRACK IN EVERYTHING. THAT’S HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN.

Following the topic of Golden Shadow by Carl Jung, and my own journey of attempting to become a photographer, this series is a collection of small moments and details in the world around me that somehow brought me comfort in a world of struggle. Perhaps, ignited an inner sparkle.

The Japanese have the expression ‘mono no aware’ to represent the contemplation (and appreciation) of the impermanence of everything. In Latin, from where my language comes from, ‘lacrimae rerum’ signifies the tears of things, the realization and acceptance of what is. Maybe this is part of the journey of us all, integrating in ourselves the broken pieces and looking for what shines from within.
